One last dip.

Although it’s a bit late in the season, we are having a nice warm day today.  I’m going to try to make it out to the pit one more time. I would really like to follow the creek for a bit and see if there’s a soft bank I can play around in… Surely the pot plants are gone by now. Hopefully there’s nobody out hunting nearby. That could make for a bad scene pretty quickly.

The last trip out there was about a month ago, but my hole doesn’t seem too eager to dry up, so I might only make it that far, but I really would like to explore around the creek a bit. Since the water level is really low right now, there’s a good chance I’ll find something to play in, just to add some variety.

I’ve been using the same pit all summer! I haven’t even visited the truck hole this year!  I’m looking forward to maybe checking it out again next year.   Since the area slopes in toward the big muddy area, and we’ve had lots of rain this year. I’m betting next year the mud will be deeper… Oh man. Must not get excited for what won’t happen for another 8 months!

So at least for this last nice day of the year I’m sure I will have a wonderful adventure this afternoon!
