So for the next outing…

By | July 28, 2015

Yeah I think it’s soon time to get away for a day or two. Being summer and all that stuff, it would be really nice to go find a secluded little pond to set up a camera at and take some nice photos and maybe take a little ‘swim’ if you know what I mean 🙂

Washing a zentai suit out by hand takes a little bit of time, but it’s well worth it to get as much fine mud matter as possible out of the suit so it doesn’t get all hard and lose elasticity. It’s happily drying out in the other room while I try to decide where I can find some nice mud within an hour or two drive.

I see lots of these little ponds around but a lot of them seem to have become overgrown. Holes used by play trucks are some of the best because of the occasional stirring up of the gooey sediments. I still haven’t found a quarry site with a nice looking settling pond… Well, really I’ve found quite a few of them. The gubbermint even has maps and data pointing out, say, abandoned stone mines and such. I really need to make sure I avoid anything that is still active because the risk of being monitored it too high, even when ‘disguised’ in a full body suit.

Lakes and year-round ponds are out because of they are usually frequently used as outhouses for the local wildlife. First off, I don’t want to disturb them, and secondly, there’s a definite risk of catching some sort of infection or stray nematode or some unhealthy deal. And the smell is a bit of a turnoff. Some mud smells really nice and some just smells awful. Avoid the awful.

Or as a parting thought, a nice fresh field of silt to roll around in for a while.
