Double-dose of the paranoia

By | October 25, 2016

I am reminded today of my previous paranoid musings about my privacy and security.  What brings me here today is that I’m pretty sure the owner of the property I’ve been playing on is on to me, since after my last visit, he was driving by at the time I exited the trail (which isn’t on his property, but isn’t far away either)… When I got home I was concerned about this so I checked the handy dandy Google Maps map and it turns out this crazy deep spot is not only on his property, but right beside one of his trails. Now, I’m approaching from the other side, which is swampier and doesn’t show signs of previous traffic, but if he stops and takes a good look around, or if he ends up hunting back there, it’s quite probable he’ll find (or maybe has already found) evidence of my presence.

There’s also the possibility of him having these little suckers nearby. This would be really, really bad. Getting busted is a scary enough possibility, but the possibility of being filmed is far beyond scary…

I’m not sure what I’m going to do about this. If there is another nice day I would very much like to return to the spot one more time and have some more fun, but it’s a much bigger risk than I am generally comfortable with. Given that it took me this long to muster up enough courage to do this during the day at all, I’m not sure I should push my luck…
