Diggin a hole!

This spot is a little bit downstream from the last one. Better seclusion, since there are several houses in the area. Once school is out I will have to be careful since it’s still pretty close to town… But I’ve been here several times now and it’s been great each time 🙂

So, I dug a hole. It’s a few feet deep and it took a little while since everything below about 6″ or so is clay. Stomping it into a think mud mush took even longer because of the extra time spent breaking up chunks of clay. At the end of the trip I had a beautiful hole, and I can’t wait to go back and rub it. 🙂

In other news… the so-called portable shower I bought is garbage. Can’t get water out of it. Every stray piece of sand blocks it right up and it’s pretty much useless for this purpose. For now I’m using a bottle full of water to wash the mud off. It is working well enough for now… I think I will try something like this when I have some spare dollars.
