This weekend, unfortunately, I didn’t get out to the fun hole… It was a bit chilly. I’m really happy that the crazy urges have subsided for a while and I am not so intensely driven to get muddy for a change. I’m sure they will return when some things fall into place, like weather, car repairs, planned absences of my neighbour, etc. Every once in a while he takes off for the weekend, which gives me a great chance to get out later in the evening.
It seems that having a day spot is really nice, but there’s always some sort of activity in the area that I can hear, and it still bothers me a little bit. Not that I’m too worried, really. But I can’t help constantly looking over my shoulder, which takes away a lot of the fun.
I have some ‘bigger’ plans for this year still, and for this mud hole in particular, but I need absolute peace of mind, which isn’t forthcoming until I can get there later at night. This week is a rainy wet one, which will further extend the life of the happy hole and give me lots more chances to enjoy it.
So, having said that, I suppose I’m gonna be a bit lazy with the postings until things pick up again. Soon…
