Welcome to the Squishy Mess Clip Show!

Today I find myself sitting around indoors enjoying the fresh cool air we’re finally getting. The nice misty rain and happy breeze are making quick work of dropping the humidity too.  Since I’m not feeling the urge to go outside at all today I’m taking a while to review some of my older posts and make a few noteworthy notes about the state of things.

First thing to enter my mind is I love deals! For $5 a pair I couldn’t go wrong buying a bunch, and I did. The great thing about this is I’ve been using the same pair of these shorts for 3 years now and they are still tight and stretchy and not a single hole or tear in the seam or anything. Even more, they haven’t taken on any sort of long term odour! They take whatever I throw at them, and come back for more after a quick wash. Just amazing! Other purchases have worked out well for me too, while some haven’t been so great, like the oversized ducky shoes.  It’s been lots of fun shopping for zentai suits too and I hope this year or next I will be able to afford a custom made one.

I remember really wanting a day spot last year. I didn’t find one, for various reasons… Am I being too risky?frustration, and my night time sessions at Truck Hole Trail were so great I didn’t really need to look any more!  This year, however, I did find one. I actually found an entire empty area surrounded by nothing but forest canopy and thick, concealing underbrush.  Yay comfort level! While my first romp there was OK, subsequent visits were carried out a few feet away in a hole I dug with my own bare shovel.  Around the time of writing this, I’ve been there several times already this year. It’s so peaceful and calm at this place and I can’t get enough of it!

Mapping hasn’t really produced any good results, although I do enjoy scouring maps looking for fun looking spots, all the places I have visited were found by driving by or Digging through the bush…  Some places find a spot in my mud hole inventory, and some I never get a chance to try out but keep track of anyway.  All I know is that for this year I’ve found my spot and I’m going to keep working with it as long as I can!
